Operating since 2015, Darwin Recycling is a locally owned and operated business committed to minimising waste in our landfills. Our state-of-the-art facility is located in Woolner, and we strive to complete the entire recycling process on-site. When it comes to aluminium, we accept:

Extrusions
Wheels
Wires (from power lines)
Cast aluminium (must be clean with no steel)
Sheets

We do not accept:

Weights or bells
Domestic aluminium products
Iron or steel aluminium

Why Recycle Aluminium?

Aluminium is 100% recyclable, so there really isn’t a reason why it should be dumped in a landfill. The recycling process only requires 5% of the energy needed to create new aluminium and emits only 5% of greenhouse gases in comparison to excavating raw materials.
