We accept certain types of stainless steel, such as kitchen benchtops, bells, pipes, sheets, offcuts and even barbeques—however we do require you to pull it apart before you bring it to us.

What We Accept
There are two main categories of stainless steel that we accept at our facilities. These are:
316 Stainless Steel
- Considered top of the range stainless steel
- Product must have appropriate stamp certification or agreed upon when examined by our team
- We will offer a higher price if there’s no rust
304 Stainless Steel
- Typical grade used for domestic steel products
- Commonly used for piping, benchtops & commercial food processing equipment
Nowadays, most stainless steel is 60% recycled, which means less resources are poured into extracting raw materials. You can also bring us any non-ferrous scrap aluminium, copper and brass!
